ABOUT SETH TOUSEY...

 

Riding since age 6, Seth has an intense passion and dedication to the horse and to the sport of eventing. Seth's steady march through the ranks of competition has been impressive. Not yet out of high school, Seth is already competing in FEI (International) level  events while earning excellent placings.

 

Seth has found a special interest in working with difficult horses, his reputation keeping him in demand in his home community.  America's greatest three day eventers are taking notice of Seth. Beth Perkins, who earned a Team Gold Medal at the Pan American Games and has been short-listed for the Olympics, says of Seth:

"Seth is proving to be one of the top young riders in the country today. Given the opportunity, he will be representing the USA in international competition before he is 20. He has patience, bravery, and fine technique-- all the gifts you want in a three-day event rider."

 2007 was a big year for Seth, placing 3rd in his first run at Intermediate and later placing 11th in the Ocala Mane Event CCI** among some of the eventing's top riders.  Summer of 2008 took Seth to Virginia to ride with Bonnie Mosser.  Plans for Fall '08 will mean concentrating first on school and then on Cotton Gin to bring him up in the ranks.
